Made from an authentic vintage Kantha quilt, sourced from India. Kantha quilts are a traditional form of quilt making from Bengal where layers of worn sarees are hand-stitched together. Vintage Kanthas have a gorgeous distressed texture while the layers of cotton and stitching give this material its stability, integrity, and weight. The edges of this jacket are bound in light blue cotton binding. Inside collar, inside plackets, and pocket lining is a dark grey pinstripe. With silver tone metal snap closures and two large front pockets. Medium/heavy weight.
